I remember as a little girl in the 1960s, I went to the San Francisco Airport with my family to meet my Aunt Nani when she came out from Texas.
When we got back to our house, she would open her big suitcase and, to our great delight, start passing out coffee cans filled with her delicious English Toffee. Eventually my mother, Keke, started making the toffee, too.
A few years ago, I cooked up some English Toffee for friends and family from this same recipe. Every time I made a batch, friends said it was "good enough to sell" and the idea for Keke's Kitchen was born.
We make our Classic English Toffee the same way my mom and aunt did - by hand, in small batches, and to delight family and friends.
We look forward to sending something from our family to yours!
